Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Man between working and Megan I really never have time to post anything. I read my normals but just don't post. So anyway Christmas is going to be here in 7 days!! Just can't seem possible. Our trees are up and we're almost done shopping (finishing today) but not wrapped. Megan loves to get into the wrapping paper!! And I'm hiding the presents that are wrapped because i'm afraid she'll unwrap them. I think she's going to love Santa and unwrapping presents. And by the way she can (just about) stand by herself and is trying walking by herself. She also points to Santa and says Ho Ho. But she can't say Mom or Dad quite yet. When I'm working I take her to the babysitters and she is doing wonderful there. She loves the other kids and loves Candi her babysitter. Which can't make me happier. And if you were wondering NO we haven't sold our house. I think that's a losing battle. But whatever God wants for us. (although I'd love the house we want) So Saturday night into Sunday we got about 5-6inches of snow. So I haven't seen alot of Scott because he plows for the county here. He's been leaving at 3pm and getting back home at 3am. So yesterday I only seen him for a half hour. I hate it. But overtime is great. Our school (Fairview) has been off school two days now. I'm sure the kids love it. But I get so mad!!! Cause in Sturgis were I grew up they NEVER called off for ANYTHING. We would have had to have like 25inches and ice for them to call off school. Here for a dusting they call off and for a little fog!!! I hate that I didn't live here!! Well anyway I have some pictures to share so enjoy and Have a Merry Christmas.

Sorry I haven't blogged for a month!!!!!!

Ok so my life has been alittle crazy the last few weeks. I got a part time job back at the bank I used to work at. It's working out pretty well. All three of us have/had colds. Megan on the 9th and 10th was in the hospital because her cold turned into pneumonia. She is doing ALOT better. She didn't have pneumonia too bad but bad enough to but her in the hospital. So life has been really crazy for awhile!! Megan's first halloween was great. She was so cute!! Everyone loved it. She is crawling and standing next to furniture. She loves to walk around the furniture by holding on. Which I'm sure means it won't be long till she is walking. God help us.

This weekend should be super cool!!! If you don't know we are HUGE Ohio State Buckeye fans here in this house! And this Saturday is the biggest game they have all season. The Ohio State vs. Michigan game. GO BUCKS!!!! I don't think beating them by a huge amount should be a problem. At work we get to dress up SO I'll be all decked out! I just bought a shirt today that says Let Michigan be our Bichigan!!!! IT's so funny!! (But i'll have my jersey over that) and I have some face tattoos!! SO this weekend we be fun. For the game we're hoping that Megan's husband Owen Speiser (4 months) and his parents will come!! So Good Luck Bucks!

Just a normal week!

So there really isn't anything new with us here in Ohio. Well one big thing. My aunt needs your prayers and if you have a prayer chain at church. She needs all that she can get. About 8 years ago she was diagnosed with liver cancer but it's the slowest growing cancer that you can get. Right now the cancer has jumped to another organ which in blocking the tube that connects to her stomach. She had some stints (if that's how you spell it) put in but is having a hard time with them working. She also has to start chemo here in the next week or so. She has two beautiful children Zach 18 and Emmi 16. They all need your prayers please. Through your prayers and the love of Christ OUR Lord we could make her and her children's dreams come true. Please help us pray.

Megan is getting another tooth. It's a bottom one???? I thought kids always got there bottom two then the top two. But I guess Megan has to be different just like her mom. She's going to be Raggedy Anne for Halloween!!! I can't wait cause Scott's Aunt Cindy and I are going to make the costume ourselves. She'll be cute!!

Grey's is getting good!!!! I'm so glad the George loves Izzie!! They'll be cute together!! Emmi comes over every Thursday and watches it with me. We decided that they (grey's anatomy) is like our second family.

Tonight is my MOPS (Mothers of PRE schoolers) group meets tonight. It's really fun. We're going to learn how to relax with yoga tonight. That should be fun.

Life is good

Well nothing to significant happened in the last 3 days. I got my eyebrows waxed. Now that is exciting! I looked like I had a uni brow. Dancing with the Stars started on Monday. I love that show. It's one of the shows on tv that I wouldn't be afraid for my child to watch. (I just sounded like my mom!!!) It's so fun to watch all the people dancing. I wish I could dance like that. I want Jenn Garth or Cameron or Helio (cause I like Kym) to win. I can't wait till Thursday!!! Ugly Betty AND Grey's starts!!! I love both shows!! My cousin Emmi is coming over and we are partying!! Don't laugh it's the hi lite of my week!!

Now on a more serious note. I know I don't have alot of people that read my blogs but I have a friend that needs prayed for (and no it's not me but do pray for me too). She is going through a really rough patch right now. Just pray that God would lift her and her family up.

Ok Sunday we put up our scarecrow!! He's cute. Scott and I have been putting him up for years but this was the first time with Megan. SO of course I took pictures.

She loved watching Scott and I putting him together!! It was so cute. I also took a video that day of her. She likes to shake her head "no" alot now. I'm gonna have my hands full. lol

So I'm sorry for the last blog. I was having a REALLY bad day. Whoever said having faith was easy?? It's hard sometimes. But I'm over it and God and I are talking once again. So here what's been happenin' in my life. I turned 26 (!!!!) on the 15th. I had a nice birthday. I spent it with my husband and daughter. They and my cousin Emmi took me out to Olive Garden for dinner. And I got ice cream cake. I love ice cream cake. Megan can scoot around now. And can almost full out crawl. I'm so proud. Megan can say Dada and Mama (she said mama on my birthday). We painted our kitchen a light greenish color and it turned out great. For my birthday my brother gave me money for a new cell phone, which I got today and it's pretty neat. My Mom came down to my granny's house last Thursday. I was nice to be able to see her. I am making her a ***** for Christmas!! (She reads my blogs so I can't tell) I can crochet now!!! I'm really good at it. If anyone wants me to make them a hat or scarf I can. lol Scott, Megan and I went out to Steve's (Scott's brother's) and picked pumpkins!! It was fun. We got to have 4. Oh I think I need to talk alittle about Big Brother. All I'll say is I CAN'T BELIEVE DICK WON!!!!!!!!! I do not like that man or his daughter!!!!!!! BUT i'm happy to say the next show I will be blogging about is Grey's Anatomy!! It starts on Thursday! Everyone must watch it! Well have to make dinner and work on our scarecrow!! As for me, I'm not talking to Him

I know when your a Christian your not supposed to ask why but WHY???? I'm a (I think) good Christian I go to church every Sunday, I try to show an Christian example, We give an offering every Sunday (I admit it's not 10% but we can't afford that), and I try to talk to other people about God and His love. So why God are you doing this to me?? I am having a REALLY bad day. I had two jobs I was waiting to hear from. Well they both called today and said I'm sorry we have filled the position. WHAT?? Money is really starting to get tight around here. And I prayed and prayed (and other people were praying for me) for a job so I could help provide for my family. I told God that the school job was the PERFECT job for me. I love little children, I want to be a teacher someday. And the babysitter is just 2 miles from the school. Just perfect for our family. The bank job I was hoping for great hours and GREAT pay. Would've been a little drive BUT I was willing. I just don't get it. God knows we need money and I need a job. Two perfect jobs just gone. Why God? Why? I know He might have another plan BUT couldn't I just have worked at one of these jobs till then? lol Life is horrible right now. I'm sorry to be such a downer today in my blog BUT I just had to get it out. I'm not one to keep things inside. So if God truly is listening please pray for me and my family. I promise next blog will be more positive with pictures.

We'll NEVER forget!!

Ok so we all know it's September 11th, I'd just like to take a moment and talk about it. I can't believe it's been 6 years!! I remember exactly where I was when it happened, I was sitting in my first class of the day, Spainish. After that class I had choir so I walked out in the lobby for awhile and saw a WHOLE bunch of people around the tvs so I asked what was going on and I just stared in amazment at the tv. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I went to choir and the teacher and our whole class were in tears. Our teacher let us go home early. I was driving home and the weirdest feeling came over me. I looked up at the sky and there were no planes. I know it didn't happen to me but as I was looking in the sky I just started crying and praying for the people in the planes and the towers. God please just be with them and their families. I called my Mom right after that to make sure she was ok or if she knew. I knew she was ok but in a situation like that you just want to call your loved ones. I got home and watched the coverage on tv for awhile. When I had to go to work!! The store next to us let us use a radio to listen to it. We were dead at work! But I remember a lady coming in and she said she didn't care about what was on tv!! If I wouldn't have been at work I would have lost it! If you don't care lady your not an American get out of our country. Anyway It just feels like yesterday to me. I still pray for the people affected by 9/11 the kids that will never know their parent or grandparent, the wives that will never see their husbands again. God just be with them today as they and the world remember what happened 6 years ago today. Just give them the strength to go on and have faith that their loved ones are waiting for them in heaven with you.

So life has been great here. NO job yet. Megan loves to clap!! She army crawls and can say uh oh, well sorta. We got to spend all of last week with Scott. That was great. Megan and Scott really bonded. We went to the zoo, went to Aunt Bonnies for Labor Day, went to the football games and just had fun. God has really blessed us. Today I got a call from the bank for a second interview!!! So that's great! Now I'm just waiting around for the school to call me!! Cause I really want that one. But whatever direction God wants me to go. Mom and Dad came over to Grandma's house (Granny's is only 5 minutes from my house) on Thursday. We had lots of fun. We took a 4 generation picture.

It turned out pretty good. Grandma always has her mouth open so it's ok. Today I've been pretty bored BUT what's new. I was standing by the window with my camera and I took this awesome picture!!

I thought it was neat!! It's the first time I've seen two sitting at the same time. We have three regulars. Two females (in the picture) and one male. Scott and I are trying to figure out some names. I think the male will be Brutus or Nemo. Maybe you Moms that read my blog can help me with this one. I am deathly afraid of SIDS!!! Megan has been rolling over in her sleep lately. So I find myself waking up like 4 or 5 times a night to check on her. She is almost 7 months (WOW she's growing up fast) and I know that from 2 to 4 months is the time to watch. So I'm just wondering if any of you freak out too? Anyway that's it for this blog. But I'll leave you with some thoughts and some more pictures.

• I'm not sure if I'm happy Dick stayed or not. I wanted him to leave BUT at least he can work on his relationship with Daniele.
• Amber is driving me up the wall.
• I'm so happy that Daniele is HOH this week. She is a GREAT game player.
• Eric is dumb. And I can't believe Jessica might like him.
• I think Jameka and Eric are going up Sunday. Mark my words.

Life is so awesome with God by your side.

So apparently this is not a daily blog! lol. But so much as gone on these last 10 days it's hard for me to find time. I sent out 5 resumes and I've had an interview with everyone! I'm so blessed. Today I'm having my 5th interview with Fairview Elementary School!! This is the one I want so please pray for me. God please give me the words to say. I also (Friday) had an interview with Midwest Federal Credit Union. Which is a great job. I'm hoping if the school doesn't work out that this bank will work out. (15.25 an HOUR for part time!!!!!!!!!!!) So I'm just asking all my friends and family to pray for me and my potential jobs. Other then that life is great. Megan is a perfect child. She doesn't cry much, she's happy all the time. She and her Dad had a bath Friday night. It was so cute. She loved it.

And did I mention that she is the cutest baby?? I think I have. I'm just so happy and excited where my life is leading me and my family. Recently I felt as though I hit a real low in my life. I know I have a great life and family and friends. I just didn't feel like I deserve them. And I was really down on life and upset about losing the house we wanted. So I gathered what strength I had and pray to God and just give Him the situation. I just prayed that something in my life would change. We needed money and I am and was having cabin fever with Megan lol. It's hot up here. So I just prayed that I could find a job or something that would change our lives and so I could help someone else's. So I believe that God has given me these interviews and hopefully if it's right for me I'll get the school job. So cross your fingers.

Now I'd like to comment on Big Brother. I am getting sick of Evil Dick and his mouth! I want him out BAD. Also I found something out that's kinda neat. I know Amber's boyfriend, Ben Veasy, he was a senior when I was a sophomore I think. They live in Las Vegas. And alot of people who know Ben and Amber in Sturgis say she really is a whiner in real life too. Which drives me insane by the way. So I'm hoping that Dick not Danielle gets voted off. But I'm not so busy now so hopefully I'll blog more often. Don't forget to pray about me.

What's been going on??

Well I know I haven't really been blogging lately but I have a good story. There were ups and downs this last week.

Friday through Sunday-

We had The Baker Reunion!! It was so fun! I got to see cousins I haven't seen in awhile. I got to introduce family members to my husband and Megan. They liked Scott but LOVED Megan. (who doesn't??)

In the picture that isn't everyone but almost. They had a golf tournament and Scott's team won. We had Baker Olympics and Scott's team came in 2nd BUT our team had the best poster!!!! Scott has to win everything. It was just really fun. From July 21st till July 30th Scott was in heaven with his new buddy Doug, my cousins husband. They were inseparable for awhile. Scott was even trying to make them move up here from Florida! Right. Here's some pictures.

Overall the reunion was a blast and I can't wait for 3 years to come around so we can go to Cape Cod for the next one.

The rest of my week kinda sucked. Monday was fun I hung out with Mary and her family for a while. Tuesday was softball day, which means Taco Bell YUMMY!!! And big brother was bad because Nick was nominated!!! Wednesday was good and really bad. I had 2 interviews one at First Federal Bank and one at Fairview Middle School for a secertary job. It was great hopefully I get one of them. BUT the people we were buying a house from couldn't wait for us to sell our house so the sold it to someone else!!!!! I balled for a good part of the day and dropped a few "f" bombs. I know that's not good but it made me feel better. But Scott and I decided if I get a good job we are going to build our own house!!! So now I don't care about the other house much, still mad though. Yesterday I went to Shipshewana which was ok but my friend that I brought along was grumpy so it sucked. And Big Brother sucked because Nick got kicked out!!!!!!!!!! But I guess I was getting sick of his hair! Well anyway that's that so the next blog well be shorter and more interesting.

Megan is sitting up like a big girl!!!! And she does it pretty good no falling over or anything. She is growing up so fast!!!!

Life is so weird sometimes!

Ok so I was gonna blog yesterday but I think Megan is getting her upper teeth cause she was very difficult yesterday. But she's better today. So Tuesday I went to Sturgis (Sorry Jill your turn is Thursday the 2nd) to see my friend Kelli and her daughter Emma. Let me tell you that is REALLY weird to see one of your best friends in high school be a mom. And Kelli's sister Katie (who i swear the last time i saw her she was 13 lol) has a baby, Olivia. We were all there just watching our babies play with each other. It was really cute. But really weird cause Kelli, Katie and me (i guess) shouldn't be moms we should be hanging out at the Hudgens house messin' around. (Stephanie, Kelli said Hi and she missed you and you have a beautiful baby. And she looks like Josh!) I had a dose of reality on Tuesday but it was really fun.

Other then the reunion between Kelli and I, I'm gettin ready for the Baker Reunion. Man Megan has to have more stuff packed then me!!! The reunion will be fun we have a really cool family. Although at every reunion its kinda hard for me because I never really met my PaPa (Baker) because he passed away when I was 1. And everyone talks about him and reminds me of what an awesome PaPa I missed out on. But I know he's my #1 angel and my life has turned out perfect because of him and his example that he gave my mom. Anyway it should be fun. So I won't blog till Monday or Tuesday.

Side notes:

• Megan is almost sitting up by herself well with the help of her Boppy.



• I about pooped my pants this morning!!!! I woke up at 8:15 and I freaked out cause Megan is usually up by then and I walked into her room and she was on her tummy!!!! Come on I'm a new Mom it scares me! Luckily she was still breathing!


• AND big brother!!!!! I was praying that Jen got kicked out!! Now I'm hoping Keil leaves she is turning out to be a real lair. But Jen must go!! And Dick should be right after her he's a real jerk.
  
• When in Sturgis Megan found Grammy and PaPa's toy and she loved it!! She was dancing to the music!! She's so cute!!!!!!
